Math           Because of Fermat

 I know a certain A. W. is credited with having proved
 Fermat's Last Theorem, but I--an amateur heuristic 
 mathematician--was convinced back in the mid 1960's
 that his Theorem could be proved geometrically; and
 while I was not aware of David Bernoulli's formulas
 then (formulas I heuristically rediscovered in the mid
 1990's), formulas which bolstered my thirty-years-
 before certainty/ in that each level can be seen as a
 dimension, and that once one gets to the 3rd (cubes)
 dimension/ the forced separation between numbers
 is such that no x² + y² = z² can be found therein
 (although w³ + x³ + y³ = z³ conditions can therein be
 found) intimates that each dimension inherently persists
 via rules which pertain solely to its geometry, that what
 is true in one dimension cannot be true in any other 
 dimension.
 -
 Also, regarding Fermat, I have encountered 2 intriguing
 instances in this century, the first of which was/ a pattern-
 recognition proof of Fermat's Last Theorem put forth by
 a mathematical thinker whose name I do not recall; and
 the second of which had to do with finding prime numbers
 (and thus also non-prime numbers) through the use of
 Pascal's Triangle/ from a mathematical thinker whose name
 I could not discover.
